    Rover Scout Training Workshop

    The Career Guidance Unit, University of Ruhuna organized a Personal Leadership & Transferable Skills Development Outbound Training Program for the Rover Scout Crew from 03rd of October 2023 to 06th of October 2023. The CGU conducted the training with collaboration of Sri Lanka Scout Association and Sri Lanka Army. For the inauguration ceremony, Senior Professor Sujeewa Amarasena, Vice Chancellor, University of Ruhuna, Professor Saman Chandana Ediriweera, Deputy Vice Chancellor, University of Ruhuna, Professor Thusitha Gunawardana, Director, Career Guidance Unit, Assistant Commissioner Mr. Srilath De Silva, Assistant Chief Commissioner of Sri Lanka Scouts participated as the guests. Mr. Indika Prasanna, Former Commissioner of Matara District Scout Association and Mr. Nilantha Kalansooriya, Career Counsellor of the CGU coordinated the training program.
