Establishment of Information Technology Department

The establishment of the Department of Information Technology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Ruhuna

The University of Ruhuna marks a new milestone in its development journey by establishing a new Department of Information Technology in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The new department has added to the faculty as its 10th department.

The inauguration ceremony of the Department of Information Technology establishment was held on 27^th July. The event's chief guest was the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ruhuna, Senior Professor Sujeewa Amarasinghe.
