Applications are invited from suitably qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the following posts on a Contract Basis at the University of Ruhuna up to two years.

1. Dental Surgeon (On Contract Basis)

       Qualifications:

      Applicants should possess a Degree in Dental Surgery of a recognized University with at least 4 years experience as a Dental Practitioner.

      Salary Scale  [U-MO 1(II)]  -  Rs.  135,974.00 p.m. (Fixed Salary)

2. Nursing Officer (Grade II) (On Contract Basis)

      Qualifications:

1. G.C.E (Ordinary Level) Examination in six subjects at not more than two sittings with credit passes in 03 subjects.
2. Certificate of competence as a Nurse recognized by the Sri Lanka Medical Council.

      Age: Not more than 45 years

      Salary Scale  : U MT 1 (III) - Rs.  84,517.00 p.m. (Fixed Salary)

      Method of  Recruitment: Selection by interview

      Benefits:

      The appointee will become a contributor to the University Provident Fund contributing 10% of their earnings and the University contributes an amount equivalent to 15% of their monthly earnings. In addition, they will become contributors to the Employee Trust Fund which the University will contribute an amount equivalent to 3% of the monthly earnings of the employee.

its equivalent;

2. (a) (i) Should possess a Bachelor’s Degree specialized in Accounting from a recognized

                University/Higher Educational Institution;

OR

(ii) Should possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University/Higher Educational  Institution with a pass in the Intermediate Level Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka or its equivalent;  

OR

(iii) Should possess a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy (HNDA) of Sri Lanka       Institute of Advanced Technological Education (SLIATE) or its predecessor;

AND

• Two (02) years of experience in Accounting/ Auditing in a Government/ State Corporation or reputed Private Sector organization.

1. An Attorney-at-Law with a Degree in Law/Legal Studies with not less than two (02) years of experience gained in Court work, legal work and drafting legal documentation in a State/Corporation or reputed private sector organization or official bar after obtaining the above qualifications.

 OR

2. An Attorney-at-Law with not less than three (03) years of experience gained in Court work, legal work and drafting legal documentation in a State/Corporation or reputed private sector organization or official bar after obtaining the above qualification.

Calling application for the post of Management Assistant on Assignment Basis

Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Ruhuna

Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals for the post of Management Assistant on assignment basis at the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Ruhuna.

Qualifications:

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

1. Passed all three subjects in a single sitting at the G.C.E. (A/L) examination.
2. Obtained Credit passes in Mathematics and English Language/English Literature at the G.C.E. (O/L) examination.
3. Successfully completed a course in computer application packages, with a minimum duration of three months.
4. Possess at least six months of work experience in any institution.
5. Be 30 years of age or below at the time of application.

A fixed monthly salary of Rs. 50,000.00 will be offered. Contributions to the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) at 8% and the Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF) at 3% will also be made in accordance with statutory requirements.
