Applications are invited from motivated and qualified candidates for the post of Temporary Research Assistant in the Department of Biosystems Technology.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will provide dedicated research support to academic staff and ongoing projects within the department. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting literature reviews and data collection.
• Assisting in the design, setup, and maintenance of laboratory and field experiments.
• Preparing samples, reagents, and media for various research procedures.
• Collecting, recording, and performing preliminary analysis of research data.
• Contributing to the preparation of research reports, presentations, and publications.
• Ensuring proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications required:

• Bachelor of Biosystems Technology (BBST) degree covering nanotechnology with natural product development technology or fisheries and aqua culture technology.

Preferred Additional Qualifications:

• Prior research experience (e.g., as an undergraduate researcher, industry R&D).
• Proficiency in relevant software for data analysis (e.g., R, SPSS, GIS).
• Strong technical writing and communication skills in English.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified graduates for the post of Temporary Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Biosystems Technology.

Qualifications required:

A Bachelor's Degree in one of the following specialized fields from a recognized university:

• B. Sc. Agriculture technology degree with specialized in Crop Science.
• B.Sc. degree specialized in Chemistry

Note: 

1. Priority will be given to applicants with relevant industrial experience and/or postgraduate qualifications.
2. Applicants must clearly indicate the specific specialization field they are applying under, as listed in the qualifications above in both the application form and the email subject line.
