Vacancies for posts of Temporary Research Assistant at Department of Biosystems Technology, Faculty of Technology

Applications are invited from motivated and qualified candidates for the post of Temporary Research Assistant in the Department of Biosystems Technology.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will provide dedicated research support to academic staff and ongoing projects within the department. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting literature reviews and data collection.
- Assisting in the design, setup, and maintenance of laboratory and field experiments.
- Preparing samples, reagents, and media for various research procedures.
- Collecting, recording, and performing preliminary analysis of research data.
- Contributing to the preparation of research reports, presentations, and publications.
- Ensuring proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor of Biosystems Technology (BBST) degree covering nanotechnology with natural product development technology or fisheries and aqua culture technology.
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
- Prior research experience (e.g., as an undergraduate researcher, industry R&D).
- Proficiency in relevant software for data analysis (e.g., R, SPSS, GIS).
- Strong technical writing and communication skills in English.
