Researcher Position (On Assignment Basis)
CSL CER is looking for suitable individuals to engage in coastal water and low atmospheric observation
and data analysis projects for a period of one (01) year, commencing from November 2025. An
extension may be considered based on performance and availability of funds
Responsibilities
The position is responsible for handling research projects conducted by CSL CER while organizing
coastal water cruise and operating un-manned vessel, maintaining air-sea flux tower and mounted
observation instruments, communicating with the administrative staff of the University and relevant
government agencies under the supervision of the Director.
Qualifications
Postgraduate qualifications related to Environmental Sciences, Marine Sciences, Meteorology, Physical
Oceanography, Hydrology, or related study area.
Remuneration
Rs. 95,000.00 per month for a researcher with postgraduate qualifications (MPhil.),
Rs. 110,000.00 per month for a senior researcher with postgraduate qualifications (PhD).
