VACANCY – VISITING ENGLISH LECTURERS / INSTRUCTORS
Engineering Education Center, Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Visiting English Lecturers/ or instructors to conduct maximum 150 hours of lecture sessions for 10 weeks at the Faculty of Engineering, Hapugala, Wackwella.
Required Qualifications:
(i) A Special Degree in English
OR
(ii) A General Degree with the English Language as a subject.
OR
(iii) A Special/General Degree with a Diploma in English of not less than 18 months duration obtained from a University or UGC recognized other Higher Educational Institution.
OR
(iv) The Postgraduate Diploma/Masters in Teaching of English as a Second Language from the University of Colombo/Open University of Sri Lanka or an equivalent qualification of not less than one-year duration obtained from a University or UGC-recognized other Higher Educational Institution.
OR
(v) The Trained Teachers' Certificate in English with at least 05 years of experience after training.

Rs.1500/- will be paid per hour (maximum of 15 hours per week) for those with a degree and Rs. 750/- for those without a degree.
