Post of Research Assistant
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the Post of Research Assistant under the Research Grant RU/HSS/RG/2022/03 of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Ruhuna.
Qualifications:
- Should have a BA (Special) degree in Sinhala with a first class
- Should be proficient in English Language
Duties
- Conducting interviews under the guidance of the researcher
- Transcribing interviews
- Collecting and categorizing reading materials
- Maintaining reference collection
- Typing
- Proof reading

Allowance : Rs: 5000.00 per day
Duration: 20 days
For travelling the bus/train, fare will be paid on production of the proofs that they were made for the research purpose.
