The Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS), University of Ruhuna, invites sealed quotations from reputable and qualified suppliers for the supply and installation of curtains at its premises. The requirement includes double-layer curtains (sheer and blackout), curtain rods/tracks, professional stitching, and installation.

    Suppliers are requested to visit the site for accurate measurements before submitting quotations. Fabric samples (if available) should accompany the submission. Quotations must clearly indicate cost per square meter, installation charges, total estimated cost, and validity period.

    Sealed quotations should be submitted on or before 10th April 2026 to:

    Self-prepared application with relevant documents should be forwarded under registered cover indicating the post applied for on the top left-hand corner of the envelope to reach “Assistant Registrar, Distance and Continuing Education Unit, University of Ruhuna, Matara” or hand-delivered to the office of the Distance and Continuing Education Unit, University of Ruhuna on or before 30th June 2026.

We are seeking motivated graduates for three Research Assistant positions focusing on single use plastic waste mapping, microplastic analysis, and sustainable packaging materials. Selected candidates will gain hands-on experience with advanced laboratory techniques, field-based environmental monitoring, and international collaborative research projects. This initiative aims to tackle the growing challenge of single-use plastic pollution and contribute to sustainable coastal and agricultural ecosystems in Sri Lanka.
