High level commitment
Memorandum of Cooperation Between Chinese Academy of Sciences and Ministry of Higher Education & Research was signed on 12th September 2014, in the presence of Chinese President Xi Jinping and President Mahinda Rajapaksa in Colombo, by Prof. Bai Chunli, President of the CAS and Hon Mr. S. B. Dissanayake, Minister of Higher Education.
Memorandum of Cooperation between Chinese Academy of Sciences and Ministry of Urban Development, Water Supply and Drainage was signing on the March 26, 2015, in the presence of Chinese President Xi Jinping and President Maithripala Sirisena in Beijing, by Prof. Bai Chunli, President of the CAS and Mr. Rauff Hakeem, Minister of City Planning and Water Supply.
