a. B.Sc. (Nursing)
Preference will be given to candidates who posses B.Sc. degree in Nursing with a class from a recognized University of Sri Lanka or from abroad.
Preference will be given to candidates who posses B.Sc. degree in Nursing and a Ph.D. in Nursing related subjects.
Those who wish to join on contract basis or on secondment are also encouraged to apply for the above post/s.
b. B.Sc. (Medical Laboratory Science)
Preference will be given to candidates who posses MBBS degree or B.Sc. degree in Human Biology or Biochemistry or Microbiology with a class from a recognized University of Sri Lanka or from abroad.
Preference will be given to candidates who posses in addition a post graduate degree (M.Phil. or Ph.D in relevant fields) or MD in Pathology or Microbiology.
Temporary Positions

Application forms and other particulars for the posts could be obtained by post from Assistant Registrar (Academic Establishments) by sending a self addressed stamped envelope 22 cm x 10 cm in size. Details of the above posts are available in the University (website www.ruh.ac.lk.).
Duly perfected application forms should be sent under registered cover to the Assistant Registrar (Academic Establishments ), University of Ruhuna, Wellamadama, Matara on or before 19th September, 2008.
The title of the post should be indicated on the top left hand corner of the envelope. Incomplete, illegibly completed and late applications will be rejected without any notice.
Candidates from Public Service / Corporations / Statutory Boards should channel their applications through their Heads of Departments / Corporations / Boards.
