The 14th Faculty of Medicine Academic Sessions (FMAS) 2026 is scheduled for the 13th of May 2026 at the TW Wikramanayake auditorium, Faculty of Medicine, University of Ruhuna. This year, the theme “Beyond prescription: Navigating therapy in Medical Practice” highlights the countless measures that contribute to patient well-being, which is not just limited to what is merely written in a prescription. |
The keynote speaker is Dr. Pushpa Punchihewa, a senior consultant paediatrician who has been an integral part of child health in Galle for many years in the past. The symposium of the sessions will cover a wide range of subjects that come under the umbrella of a broad, timely topic, “Behind the screen: Addiction, Resistance & Dependence.”
