    Dr.W.A.Indika (Coordinator/Govi Nena Project), Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science, University of Ruhuna pleased to announce that Mr. Anura Dissanayaka, Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education and Prof. Janitha Liyanage, Project Director, AHEAD Operations represented as the Chief Guests of the “Govi-Nena - Home Gardening” mobile application Launching Ceremony on June 1, 2020 at the University of Ruhuna and “Govi-Nena - Home Gardening” mobile application was launched by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ruhuna, Senior Prof. Sujeewa Amarasena and Mr. S. Periyasami, Director, National Agriculture Information and Communication Center, Department of Agriculture. This project funded by Accelerating Higher Education Expansion and Development (AHEAD) Project - Research, Innovation and Commercialization Grants (RIC-Grant) (Grant No: AHEAD/RA3/RIC/RUH/SCI/GOVINENA/) (Entity: Faculty of Science, Department of Computer Science). The Govi-Nena team includes various professional research experts from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna; Faculty of Technology, University of Ruhuna; University of Colombo School of Computing and Western Sydney University, Australia.
