The Department of Computer Science, and the Computer Unit of the University of Ruhuna, are jointly conducting the Certificate Course in Computer Technology as an external course.Course Duration is 160 hours and Course will be conducted between 8.30a.m. to 5.30 p.m on Saturday or Sunday (8 hours per day)

To offer opportunity to people specially from southern region

To provide the opportunity to acquire ICT knowledge from a qualified faculty

Eligibility

Employed persons:

• with at least 6 G.C.E (O/L) passes at one sitting or higher examination
• AND
  
• A general pass for Mathematics and English in G.C.E (O/L)
  

Unemployed persons:

• with at least 3 passes at the G.C.E.(A/L) examination or higher examination.
