The University of Ruhuna that was established in 1978 would be completing 25 year service to the nation in 2003. So for it has produced over 85000 graduates and they are employed in various sectors in locally and internationally. Majority of them are willing to have relationship with their alma matter and wish to assist the development of the University and help undergraduates currently enrolled in studies.
With this objective we are pleased to inform you that Ruhuna University Alumni Association (RUAA) was established on 5th July 2003, under the patronage of Prof. Ranjith Senaratna, the Vice Chancellor, University of Ruhuna.
