Inauguration of the faculty of Graduate studies, University of Ruhuna

The official inaugural ceremony of the 8th faculty of University of Ruhuna, the Faculty of Graduate Studies, will be held on 8th December, 2011, at 9.00 am in the newly established faculty office in the administrative building at Wellamadama.

The new faculty aims to promote excellence in all aspects of postgraduate research with the guidance and maximum support from eminent scholars in Agriculture, Engineering,  Finance and Management, Fisheries  Marine science and Technology , Humanities and Social sciences, Life Sciences, Medicine, etc. Professor L. P. Jayatissa is serving as the first Dean of the Faculty.
