Senior Lecturer Grade II

Preference will be given for Science, Technology and Engineering related Postgraduate/Professional Degree holders with experience on technology related subjects.

Expected areas of teaching:  Position 1. Physical Sciences

                                                  Position 2.Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production Engineering

1. Physical Sciences : following areas will be considered.
   (Mechanics, Mathematics, Electricity and Magnetism, Electronics, Circuit Analysis,
   Materials, Nanotechnology)
2.  Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing/Production Engineering:  following areas will be considered.
   (Motor Mechanics, Robotics, Mechatronics, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Welding Techniques, Instrumentation, Hydraulic pumps and Machines, Hybrid Systems, Marine Technology, Nautical Technology)

 2. FACULTY OF HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES

Department of Public Policy

Senior Lecturer Grade I/Grade II/Lecturer (Probationary) in Political Sciences

 3. FACULTY OF ENGINEERING

Department of Interdisciplinary Studies

Senior Lecturer Grade I/Grade II/Lecturer (Probationary)

Area of specialization should be English

 4. DISTANCE AND CONTINUING EDUCATION UNIT

Programmer Cum Systems Analyst Grade II

5. PHYSICAL EDUCATION UNIT

Instructor in Physical Education Grade III

Application forms and other particulars for the above posts could be obtained by post from the Senior Assistant Registrar (Academic Establishments) by sending a self addressed stamped envelope 22 cm x 10 cm in size or personally calling over at the Office of Senior Assistant Registrar (Academic Establishments) during work hours up to 15.09.2015.

Only Sri Lankan Citizens are eligible to apply for the above posts.

The title of the post should be indicated on the top, left hand corner of the envelope. Applications which do not confirm to these requirements, incomplete applications and applications received after the closing date will be rejected without intimation.

Those who wish to apply for more than one post, should send separate application forms for each post.

Candidates from Public Service/Corporations/Statutory Boards should channel their applications through their Heads of Departments/Corporations/Boards.
