Area of specialization should be relevant to the department.
Preference will be given for those who have doctoral degrees in the following areas:
Electrical Engineering (Power Systems, Power Electronics, Electric Machines and Drives, Renewable Energy Systems), Control Engineering, Telecommunication, Data Networks, Software Engineering (Development).
Preference will be given for the candidates who have specialized/willing to specialize in the following areas:Electrical Engineering (Power Systems, Power Electronics, Electric Machines and Drives, Renewable Energy Systems), Control Engineering, Telecommunication, Data Networks, Software Engineering (Development).
Sixty three years old or less than sixty three years old retired engineering professionals will be considered. Area of specialization should be relevant to the department.
Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering:
Preference will be given for those who have doctoral degrees in the following areas:
Applied Thermodynamics, Mechanical Engineering Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Maintenance Management, Production and Operations Management, Aerospace Engineering, Marine Engineering, Nanotechnology
Preference will be given for the candidates who have specialized their bachelors’ degree in Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering.
Mechanical Engineering Design, Computer Aided Design/Manufacturing, Applied Mechanics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Nanotechnology, Aerospace Engineering, Marine Engineering, and Applied Thermal Engineering
Department of Interdisciplinary Studies
Area of specialization should be relevant to the department (i.e. Mathematics, Management or English).
Preference will be given for those who have doctoral degree in English.
Those who possess doctoral degree in Engineering and willing to undertake teaching in Technology and Society, and Engineering Ethics will also be considered.
Area of specialization should be English
Sixty three years old or less than sixty three years old retired professionals will be considered. Area of specialization should be relevant to the department.

Application forms and other particulars for the above posts could be obtained by post from the Senior Assistant Registrar (Academic Establishments) by sending a self addressed stamped envelope 22 cm x 10 cm in size or personally calling over at the Office of Senior Assistant Registrar (Academic Establishments) during work hours up to 31.03.2015.

The title of the post should be indicated on the top, left hand corner of the envelope. Applications which do not confirm to these requirements, incomplete applications and applications received after the closing date will be rejected without intimation.
